Description

Argon is a noble gas obtained from air.

Use

The biggest user of argon gas is the welding industry. Inert gas in metallurgy, and welding gas for aluminium and acid-resistant materials.

Subject to technological needs, it is also distributed in cylinders with the addition of carbon dioxide.

Packing

• Large consumers: liquefied state in special refrigerated transport vehicles at a pressure of 2-6 bar.
• Small consumers: Small consumers: steel cylinders (10-40 litres at a pressure of 150 bar).

Transport

In line with ADR/RID regulations and according to the safety data sheet.

Customers are requested to return the containers with an overpressure of 2-3 bar in order to preserve high purity.
